Position: Lead Developer
Technologies: Flash, ActionScript 3, CandyStand API
Video Poker is a flash game I got to develop while working as a intern for a
Funtank and their sister company WDDG. The game is a remake of the classic video poker games you would see in a casino in Las Vegas. Funtank provided the graphical assests while I developed the game in ActionScript 3. I had to figure out ways to animate and tween the graphics and understand how poker worked so the user earned the correct amount of credits depending on their hand. I also had to learn and implement CandyStand's simple API, which is a very smooth process, which loads that splash animation before the game and enables you can submit your score through there website and earn tickets(note: submitting will not work on this version as you can only do it through their website). This is a current build of the game and will be released on CandyStand soon.
